出題年度は古いですが、
昨今の新型コロナ拡大の
情勢をうけて、今年以降の
大学入試において問われる
可能性があるテーマだと思います。

むろんｗ賛成の立場で
作りました。
反対の意見は作りにくい
気がします。。。
答案の論旨展開は以下の通り。
〇過去から成功・失敗の例を
学ぶことは、未来で成功する
ために必要
〇過去から学ばなければ、
同じ失敗を繰り返し
さらなる発展につながらない
〇世界的パンデミックの例を
知り、何がうまくいき
何がうまくいかなかったかを
理解する。政治家はその知見を
もとに市民をコントロール
できる。市民もまた、
どのような行動が求められて
いるか理解できる。
社会全体が、過去の経験を
活用してより大きな失敗を
防ぐことができる。
In my opinion, it is necessary
for us to learn the examples
of successes and failures in
the past so that we can succeed
in the future. If we didn't learn
from the past, we could repeat
the same mistake, which is
less likely to lead to further
development. Actually, we
learn the past examples of
world-wide pandemic
influence and understand
what did work well and
what didn't. Scholars and
lawmakers will control
citizens effectively referring
to those accumulated
knowledge. Also citizens
can recognize what behavior
should be expected in order
to stop the disease from
exploding. A whole society
can utilize the past experiences
to prevent a more serious
