今回は2023年奈良県立医科大学でのお題です。
「感染症流行期間の、移動の自由を
制限したことについて賛成か反対か」
語数は約120語とあります。
いろいろな意見が出ると思いますが、
賛成の立場から考えてみようと思います。
理由
○人との接触で感染のリスクが
高まる。大規模に規制することで
人々の注意レベルを上げ、
結果として公衆衛生のレベルが
上がると考えられる。
○自由や権利という観点から
すると多少の侵害とみなされる
だろうが、健康という観点では
必要だったと思う。
○学校や職場において、
オンライン学習やリモートワークが
導入された。感染症の流行が
収まってからも新しい働き方として
定着したので、社会全体にとって
選択肢が増えてよい結果になった
と思う。
しっかり書くと120語なんて
あっという間ですので、
論理を展開しつつ、
英文がくどくならないよう
心掛けました。
I am for limiting people's
freedom of movement
during a pandemic. First of
all, infectious diseases will
spread through contacting
other people. If a person tries
to avoid meeting other people
and to stay at home, the risk
will be drastically lower.
By limiting people's freedom
of movement in a large scale,
the level of people's awareness
does increase, and the level
of public health also increasese.
Limiting private freedom
may be seen as a kind of
violation in terms of ethics,
but actually I think limiting
is a necessary step. Also,
online studying and remote
working has been introduced
as a result of liming people's
freedom of movement.
Since the peak of the pandemic
passed, those changes have
brought good results to
society as a whole.
