受験以前の英語学習において
同様のネタでエッセイを
書いた経験がある受験生も
たくさんいるでしょう。
とくに驚くようなものでは
ありません。
だからこそ、
テキトー感なく、
しっかりと
書きこみたいものです！
お題によると指定語数は
100語程度、しかも
Compose a well-structed
paragraphとあるので、
練度の高い答案を
目指しましょう。
スペルミスや
文構造エラーがあるなんて
論外です。
今回は以下のように
考えてみました。
【メリット】
労働力が増える。
出身の国・地域の文化や
宗教、生活慣習を
知ることで地元住民が
国際経験をもつ機会となる。
また職場では移民による
新しい観点や方法を
知ることで、従来よりも
効率的なやり方を
編み出せるかもしれない。
【デメリット】
出身の国・地域の文化や
宗教、生活慣習が日本の
それと合わない場面も
出てくるかもしれない。
生活上のトラブルが
起こるかもしれない。
そうしたトラブル解消の
ための相談窓口や
法整備はまだ不十分だ。

The benefits of living
in a multicultural society
are these: One is that
the shortage of Japanese
workforce will be solved
by foreign workers.
Also receiving foreign
workers, Japanese workers
collaborate with them
and will surely be able
to figure out a more
effective way of doing
things. On the other hand,
immigrants will bring
their cultures, relitions,
and customs into the
community where they
live in Japan, which can
result in conflict with
those who already live
there. There may happen
quarrels in their daily life,
but in Japan, there are
not so many counseling
offices for foreigners
to depend on
over annoying problems
in their lives.
