今回は
京都工芸繊維大学からの
お題です。
ワタクシは一般市民なので、
極端な物言いがネットに
あげられて賛否を
云々されてるのを見ると、
ネットにあがって
耳目を集める極端な
内容や表現が一般市民に
浸透してきた結果、
（影響されやすい）人々が
「モノを言う時は
こうでなきゃ
いけないんだ」って
思いこんでしまうように
ならないか、
不安になってきます。
さて、そんな
「極端な意見」が
大学入試の自由英作文に
出題されていましたので、
書いてみようと思います。
出題はこうです。
You should not
ask for advice
for other people.
The solutions other
people suggest are
never useful to you.
この意見に対して
具体例とともに
150－200語の英語で
述べなさい。
答案内容としては
以下のように考えました
このstatementは
極端なように思われる。
自分が直面している
問題を実際に
解決するのは自分自身だが、
その解決策を
figure outするために
他人の意見を聞くことは
make senseだ。
私はこれまで多くの
人の勉強法を参考に
してきた。多くの人が
やっている方法を
試して、自分にsuitableな
やり方を作ってきた。
独自のやり方を
思いつくためには、
多くの人の助言や体験を
知ることが大切だ。
I think this statement
seems rather extreme.
Extreme expressions are
dangerous to believe.
It is I myself that actually
tackle the problem
which I am facing.
However, it does make
sense to ask others for
advice in order to
figure out a better
solution. So far, I have
watched many ways of
studying that different
people adopt. Moreover,
I had to invent a better
way of studying
for math, English,
physics, chemistry and
social studies respectively.
I asked many times
my friends who were
good at each subject.
I tried immitating their
ways and finally came
up with my own way
which I thought was
suitable to me. If I had
not asked my friends to
show their ways of
studying, I couldn't have
found the good solution.
I couldn't thank my
friends too much.
This is why I think it is
really important to
ask for others' advice
and experiences
(whether their experiences
are successful or not )
before inventing
a better and original
solution.
